EMTA 2026 Award Process
Nomination
Nomination will commence in January 2026.
Selection and Evaluation
- Eligible nominees will be invited for an interview.
- Lesson observation will be arranged for shortlisted nominees.
- The selection committee comprises mathematicians, mathematics educators, AME EXCO members, and MOE officers.
Nomination Process
The nomination process for EMTA2026 is as follows:
Step 1. Indicate your interest to nominate HERE by 16 February 2026.
Step 2. Download the nomination form HERE (or from the link provided in the poster).
Step 3. Complete and submit the nomination form to AME via this Google Form by 23 March 2026, 5 p.m.
Timeline
- Nominees will be notified for interview and classroom observations via email.
- Interviews and classroom observations will take place in April 2026.
- Award recipients will be notified in May and are expected to be present at the Mathematics Teachers Conference 2026 (in June) for the award presentation.
